My brother in Glasgow is wondering if anyone has any info or thoughts about the Canon EOS 50d. He seems to have read or heard somewhere that the pixel count is "too high for the size of the card". I can't imagine that Canon would release a model if that were so, but as I'm a Nikon user I'm not really qualified to comment.

Any advice for me to pass on?

I too am a Nikonian but tell your brother to check his queries out on this forum specifically for the 50D
