Last night there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to the rights and wrongs of where we can take photographs.

This is an on-going debate between the powers that be and photographers and much has been reported in the photographic press recently.

This is a link to the current most popular site outlining what is /is not allowed. It will be added to our links page in time.
www.sirimo.co.uk/ukpr.php

Hope it helps.

Excellent post. I have actually read it before, but its good to see it given to a wider audience.

On the down side, almost NO Police offoicers know any of theis they tend to respond to complaints, ans in the early stages, find for the complaint.

Eg.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/7651107.stm

People writing all th ebooks in the world tend not to be available to the defendants in such cases, hense he was fined £ 100....

I urge you all to READ the page that Maggie provided, there's a lot of words, but it is very usedful.

I created a couple of documents for another site on Copyright Law, and Photographing under 18's. If I still have them, and they're still relevant, I'll post them here
